First
Register as a teacher
Anyone with a verifiable email can apply. Registration is a short two-part process.
- Create an account with email, Google, or Kakao.
- Verify your email, then tell us about you and your class.
- Wait for the approval email before inviting students.

Give students access
Your dashboard gives you everything students need. They do not create accounts or need email addresses.
- Open your teacher dashboard.
- Show the class QR code, copy the join link, or share the class code.
- Students enter their name and age, then start the guided activity.

Check progress and results
Return to the teacher dashboard whenever you want to see how the class is doing.
- See which students have joined and where they are in the activity.
- Follow storyboard and film creation status.

Getting started
What is Jeju Storywave?
Jeju Storywave is a guided AI storytelling program in which students learn responsible AI basics, shape a Jeju-inspired three-part story, review three storyboard images, and create one 30-second film.
Who can apply?
Teachers, schools, language classes, after-school programs, nonprofits, and other educational groups may apply with any email address they can verify. A school-domain email is not required.
Does creating an account commit my class to anything?
No. Account creation only starts the application. Student access begins after participation is approved and you receive a film-credit allocation.

Registration
How does registration work?
First create and verify your teacher account. Then provide your name, country, school or organization, class type, student age group, expected student count, and an optional message. We review the application and email you when participation is confirmed.
Are email verification and participation approval the same?
No. Verification confirms that you control the email address. Participation approval is a separate review that activates classroom access and assigns student film credits.
What happens while my application is reviewed?
Your status page remains available and you may safely leave the site. We send a confirmation email after review. If more information is needed, the status page lets you update and resubmit your application.
Can I correct or resubmit my application?
Yes. If we request more information or participation is not yet confirmed, your saved details and personal message return to the form so you can edit and resubmit them.

Your classroom and students
Do students need accounts or email addresses?
No. Students enter through your QR code, join link, or class code. They provide their first name, last name, and age, which are saved only in your protected classroom.
What can I see in the teacher dashboard?
You can share the class entry, see joined students and their progress, monitor film jobs, retry recoverable technical failures, and play every finished classroom film.
What should I avoid putting in the application message?
Do not include student names, contact details, health information, or other personal student data. The message is for general context about your class and participation goals.

Films and credits
How do student film credits work?
One film credit allows one student to use the final Create video action once. Approval assigns an initial class allocation based partly on your expected student count.
Do storyboard images use film credits?
No. The first three storyboard images do not use film credits. Each image can be recreated up to three times; these recreation allowances are shown separately from the one-video allowance.
Does a technical failure consume another credit?
No. If completed clips are safely stored, the unfinished composition can be retried by the student or teacher without using another film credit or regenerating the saved clips.

What if the verification email does not arrive?
Check spam and promotions folders, confirm that the address is correct, and wait a few minutes before trying again. Add Jeju Storywave to your safe senders. If it still does not arrive, contact us from the address you tried to register.
What devices work best?
Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox on a laptop or tablet with a stable internet connection. Students may leave during longer generation steps and safely return later.
How do I get personal help?
Reply to any Jeju Storywave teacher email. It reaches the human-monitored support address and gives us the context needed to help with your account or application.
